Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
In addition to the increased functionality in its newest
version, Key Survey now complies with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
(LDAP), an open standard for a user security repository and authentication
mechanism.
Key Survey’s new LDAP compliance enables system administrators
to easily open Key Survey’s accounts for the users from your company's
standard authentication directory using your standard corporate credentials
(login, password etc.)
With LDAP, you can automatically create user accounts within the application and then incorporate an auto-login feature that enables registered users to access their accounts without having to enter their login or password. The administrator can easily manage user accounts stored within the LDAP directory from an Enterprise Admin Account or Main Admin Account.
Key Survey also supports your existing Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, OpenLDAP, Sun Java System Directory Server, Apache Directory Server, Apple Open Directory, or any other LDAP identity. This solution is perfect for organizations that already use LDAP based authentication to provide single sign-on capabilities for their enterprise Key Survey application.
User Tip: Email Reminders
Ever wanted to send out a friendly reminder to recipients who haven't completed a survey you've sent to them? These 3 steps will help you do it in a matter of mouse clicks:
Step 1: From your survey home page, click the number in the 'Incompleted' column next to the survey of your choice and you will be directed to the Email Results page with a list of incompletes.
Click the [Email 1st Reminder] button, and then click [Edit Email] to compose your reminder invitation, save your progress and
click [Back].
Step 2: Choose from the following options:
- 'Email 1st reminder now' to schedule reminders to go out immediately
- 'Email 1st reminder to non-respondents [x] days after first invitation' to schedule reminders to go out after a set interval of time. Note that if several batches of emails have been sent, each will be reminded [x] days after its launch.
- 'Email 1st reminder on' to schedule a reminder on a certain day, providing the date in corresponding fields.
Step 3: Set reminder email priority.
Save your settings and click back to return to the Email Results page;
the [Email 1st Reminder] button will be in yellow with
reminder launch date beside its brackets.
Your reminders will be sent on the scheduled date automatically, regardless of whether you are logged in to the Key Survey application or not.
Please note that you can send more than two reminders, just use [Email
1st Reminder] button again after you launch the 2nd reminder.
