Before we got Key Survey, we didn't have a formalized process to gather this information, and we were kind of inconsistent in our knowledge. Overall, I think Key Survey has been a good process - it's worked well for us.

Key Survey Guarantees Section 508 Compliance

You can be certain your surveys are 508-Compliant

Surveys created with Key Survey are certified to meet Section 508 guidelines.

Application Certification

Surveys produced using the Key Survey application have been rigorously tested and independently reviewed to ensure that persons with disabilities can access them.

The review was undertaken in September 2008. To achieve compliance we worked closely with Strand Management Solutions, Inc. and Larry L. Lewis, Jr., owner of Flying Blind, LLC, which specializes in technologies to assist the visually impaired.

A blind man who has worked with adaptive technology for three decades, Mr. Lewis also brings 15 years of industry experience in direct-service provision as well as product and sales management.

On September 29, 2008, he certified that Key Survey was Section 508-compliant.

Independently tested and reviewed with both the JAWS For Windows 9.0 official release and the new JFW 10 Public Beta, surveys produced with Key Survey were judged to be fully functional and accessible. A full copy of report is available.

Overall, the surveys were deemed straightforward to access and able to be completed by someone with introductory to intermediate PC skills.

To assure that people with disabilities have whatever expert help they need, WorldAPP provides free phone support as well as Live Chat and e-mail support.

Why should you care whether your surveys are accessible?

To obtain the most valuable intelligence, it's vital for any business today to reach the broadest possible range of potential respondents. Offering better accessibility in your surveys means a larger and more satisfied audience.

You can more effectively address the concerns and views of a more-representative population when you have feedback from people who access surveys in non-traditional ways.
