Time Series

This feature allows you to view the response statistics for a set time period with a selected interval. You can compare production or consumption of similar goods during specified time intervals.

To use this feature you need to click Edit next to one of the questions on the Report Items page and click Time Series on the 'Items > Edit' page, and then:

  1. Select the time period during which you need to view the response statistics for the specified question using the 'From' and 'To' drop-down boxes. Note that the 'From' date must be before the 'To' date.
Use the 'Interval' drop-down box to divide the time period into years, quarters, months, weeks or days. Note that the interval must be less than the time period.
Use the 'Step' text box to set the interval spacing. For example if you select a time period of 1 month, an interval of 'week' and a step of 2, then you will have 2 intervals, each 2 weeks long.
  2. Select the 'Respondents amount' option to design tables and graphs according to the total number of respondents for each answer choice of the question. Select the 'Response values' radio button to design tables and graphs according to the values assigned to the responses multiplied by the total number of respondents for each answer choice of the question.
  3. Select 'Time graph' to display the time series graph in your report.
Select 'Time table' to display the time series data as a table in your report.
  4. Click Edit Graph to specify the parameters for your time series graph.
