Publish on Patricipant Portal

Regular surveys can be published to the Participant Portal. This is commonly used if you want your survey respondents access all the surveys they have to submit from one place.

  1. From the survey Launch page click the Go button next to the Publish on Participant Portal option.
  2. Click the Select/Change Contacts button to add or remove contacts for which the survey will be displayed on the Participant Portal. For more details consult the Contact Groups help chapter.
  3. You can update selected contacts with the new data from the submited survey. For example: when respondents change their living address, job position, email and other personal details, you can update contact records with the up-to-date information. You can also prepopulate survey questions with the data from the Contact Manager. Click the Setup Data Flow button, apply field mappings and data flow direction. For more details consult the Data Flow chapter.
  4. You can display survey on the Participant Portal during the same dates when the survey is active or set custom dates to widen or shorten survey submit period.
  5. Click the Publish to Participant Portal button to pubish the survey. Note: after survey is published to Participant Portal, only selected contacts can submit it. Survey will be unavailable for other respondents who access it via Master URL.
