This section lists available plugins, their parameters and provides description of each plugin
- IP Address Tools This category contains plugins that can track respondents' IP addresses or block users based on their IPs, etc.
- Respondent Location Looks up respondent geographical location by the IP address.
Parameters:
- *IP address question - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where IP address will be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- Latitude field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where latitude should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- Longitude field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where longitude should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- Country field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where country name should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- Region field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where region name should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- City field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where city name should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- Postal code field - Put the reference to a field of a single line question where postal code should be stored in Qx.Ay format.
- *Output type for coodinates - Choose output format for respondent's location coordinates. DD for degrees, DDMM for degrees and minutes, DDMMSS for degrees, minutes and seconds. This is required field.
Note: This plugin is only used together with 'IP address saver' plugin. Thus system tracks respondent's IP address and then define his/her location.
*IP address question field has to reference to the same question within the survey for both plugins.
- IP address saver Saves the IP address of a respondent to a specified question or answer.
Parameters:
- *IP address question - Put the reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where IP address will be stored. This is required field.
- IP Address Access Restriction Restricts the access to the form or survey based on the respondent's IP address.
Parameters:
- * IP range - Input the IP addresses range in the following format x.x.x.x-y.y.y.y. This is required field.
- *Allow/Prohibit access - Allow or prohibit respondents coming from specified IP range to access the survey. This is required field.
Example:
IP range: 192.168.0.0-192.168.0.25
Allow/Prohibit: Allow
These mean that respondents whose IP address is within the indicated range are allowed to enter and submit their surveys.
If respondent's IP address is out of range (e.g. 192.168.0.235) the " Sorry! Your IP address does not seem to be in the allowed range" message will appear.
- Logic, Quota and Randomization
Using plugins from this category allows redirecting respondents to different URLs after survey is submit,
randomize set of questions within the survey, etc.
- Section randomization Allows randomizing questions within sections in your survey and randomly display a fixed number of questions in section.
Parameters:
- First question in section - Input the reference to the first question in section in Qx format.
- Last question in section - Input the reference to the last question in section in Qx format.
- Number of question to show - Put the number of questions you want to show to respondents from the indicated section.
- Question Weighs - You may assign weighs to questions in section that would determine the frequency at which the question
will be displayed to users if you deside to show only some questions in section. This is optional field.
Example:
First question in section: 3
Last question in section: 18
Number of question to show: 5
Question Weighs: Q6=1 Q10=2
These mean that survey will display only 5 questions in random order from the indicated section and question #10 will be displayed twice as often as question #6.
- Quota with redirect Allows to create complex quota expressions and redirect respondents to a specified webpage if quota condition is met.
Parameters:
- *Quota expression - Input logical expression for quota in Qx.Ay.Cz format.
For more details on expression syntax consult Advanced Logic help character.
- *Quota amount - Input number of respondents for quota.
- *Redirect URL - Input redirect URL in "http://www.yourdomain.com" format to redirect respondents to if quota is exceeded.
- *Redirect on - Choose appropriate option from this dropdown box to redirect respondents after they click "Submit" button or "Next" button.
Example:
Quota expression: Q1.A1 AND Q2.A3 OR Q3.A4
Quota amount: 3
Redirect URL: http://www.keysurvey.com
Redirect on: Submit
These mean that first 3 respondents whose answers satisfy indicated condition will not be redirected to the URL you specified.
Next respondents whose answers satisfy the condition will be redirected to that URL after clicking 'Submit'.
- Logical redirect This plugin redirects respondents to specified URLs based on their answers.
Parameters:
- *Logical expression - Input logical expression in Qx.Ay.Cz format.
For more details on expression syntax consult Advanced Logic help character.
- *Redirect URL - Input redirect URL in "http://www.yourdomain.com" format to redirect respondents that satisfy the condition.
- *Redirect on - Choose appropriate option from this dropdown box to redirect respondents after they click "Submit" button or "Next" button.
Example:
Logical expression: Q1.A1 AND Q2.A3
Redirect URL: http://www.keysurvey.com
Redirect on: Next and Submit
These mean that respondents whose answers satisfy indicated condition will be redirected to that URL. If your survey has more than one page respondents will be redirected upon hitting "Next" right after indicated condition is met.
- Misc This category contains wide set of tools to meet various requirements.
- Time access restriction This plugin regulates at what hours reposndents are allowed to access the survey.
Parameters:
- Timezone - Input time zone to interpret the time in ISO format. Default value is GMT.
- *Time range - Input time range during which respondents are allowed to enter the survey in hh-hh format.
- Alert message - Input error message that will be shown to respondent who tries to access the survey at the wrong time.
Example:
Timezone: EST
Time Range: 9-12
Alert Message: Sorry! You are allowed to access this survey from 9 a.m till 12 a.m only.
These mean that respondents who enter the survey at 10 a.m. EST (GMT-5) are allowed to enter and submit the survey. If respondent comes at 8:30 a.m. EST indicated message will be displayed.
- Score Calculator This plugin is used to calculate scores for different sections of questions.
To set up individual scores for questions, use Branch on range logic setup pages.
Parameters:
- First question in section - Input number of the question that starts section (e.g. 3).
- Last question in section - Input number of the question that ends section (e.g. 8).
- *Result question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where the scoring result should be stored.
Example:
First question in section: 3
Last question in section: 8
Result question: Q1.A1
After individual scores are applied to all questions within section, score calculator plugin is set up and respondents fill out their surveys the score will be calculated for the indicated section and will be saved.
- Respondent location by phone number If you want to get information on respondents location by the phone number they entered within your survey use this plugin.
Parameters:
- *Phone number question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' question in Qx.Ay format in which you ask respondents to enter their phone number.
- Country question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' question in Qx.Ay format where country name in which respondent is located should be stored.
- City question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where city name should be stored.
Example:
Phone number question: Q1.A1
Country question: Q2.A1
City question: Q2.A2
After respondent enters her phone number asked within question #1 and submits the survey, 'By Respondent' report will show country and city name within indicated question(s).
- Respondent location by city and country If you want to get information on respondents location by city and country name they entered within your survey use this plugin.
Parameters:
- Country question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' question in Qx.Ay format in which you ask respondents to enter their country name.
- City question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' question in Qx.Ay format where city name in which respondent is located should be stored.
- State question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where State should be stored.
- *Latitude question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where location's latitude should be stored.
- *Longitude question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where location's longitude should be stored.
- Zipcode question - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format where Zipcode should be stored.
- Respondent Id saver This plugin is used for saving unique respondent Id within a specified question.
Parameters:
- *Respondent Id question reference - Input reference to the 'Single Line' question in Qx.Ay format or 'Multi Line' question in Qx format in which respondent's Id should be stored.
- Circular progress bar This plugin is used to replace standard progress bar with a circular one.
Parameters:
- Lines color - Input lines color in rgb(x,y,z) format, where x,y,z are numbers between 0 and 255.
- Fill color - Input lines color in rgb(x,y,z) format, where x,y,z are numbers between 0 and 255.
Example:
Lines color: rgb(0,0,0)
Fill color: rgb(255,255,0)
These mean that standard progress indicator will be replaced with circular one with black circle and will be filled with yellow.
- CAPTCHA validation This plugin allows to use CAPTCHA validation to ensure the response to the form or survey is not generated by a computer..
To use this plugin, place the <CAPTCHA/> tag to one of the answer options in your survey. This tag will be replaced with a picture showing letters and numbers respondent will need to input.
Parameters:
- *Referance to an answer - Input reference to the 'Single Line' field in Qx.Ay format that should be validated.
- Autofiller for 3D Matrix questions This plugin allows autofilling questions of '3D Matrix' type.
To use this plugin, create data file in CSV format where first column is always unique identifier (respondent's email address or password). Other columns are used for autofilling question itself.
Sequence of the columns is strict:
- columns for autofilling pick-one elements of 3D Matrix question;
- columns for autofilling checkbox elements;
- columns for autofilling drop-down elements;
- columns for autofilling single-line (general) elements.
Parameters:
- *Reference a matrix 3D question - Input reference to the '3D Matrix' question you want to autofill in Qx format.
- *File to upload - Browse for data file you want to upload.
Your .csv Data file should look as follows (Instead of commas it may have semicolons or tabulation as delimiters).

Your '3D Matrix' question will be pre-populated and will look like this

- Salesforce integration logger logs all respondent does in her survey and is used along with 'Salesforce.com Integration' feature.
Before setting plugin up create 'Multi Line' or 'Single Line' question within your survey and hide it. This question will contain survey logs and will not be displayed to your respondents.
Parameters:
- *Log Question - Enter the reference to a hidden question where logs will be stored. Use Qx or Qx.Ay format.
- Message Detalization Level - Select appropriate logging level detail whether only errors or the whole debugging process should be logged.
- Question Look Plugins from this category make your survey questions look more attractive and more usable for survey respondents.
- Fixed header for Rate along scale and 3D Matrix questions This plugin displays answer options for Rate along scale or 3D matrix questions
in a scrollable area with fixed heigth and fixed header.
Parameters:
- *Scrollable Questions - Input the questions the plugin should be attached to and the height of the fixed area to display the question contents in pixels.
Example:

- Respondent Registration and Authentication Using plugins from this category you can apply authentication and registration utilities to your survey.
- Summary report This category contains plugins that widen report's capabilities.
- Respondents location map based on IP address This plugin is used to show respondent location on Google Map in summary report, found by IP address.
Parameters:
- GoogleMap API key (HTTP) - Google map's API http key for licensed using on this site.
- GoogleMap API key (HTTPS) - Google map's API https key for licensed using on this site.
- GoogleMap API key (IP) - Google map's API IP key for licensed using on this site.
- Width - Input map width in pixels. Must be between 300 and 2000 (e.g. 500).
- Height - Input map height in pixels. Must be between 300 and 2000 (e.g. 500).
- Left position of map - Input left map position in pixels (e.g. 50).
- Top position of map - Input top map position in pixels (e.g. 20).
- *Reference to a question - Input reference to a question in Qx format where you want to show map.
Note:
- To obtain keys for licensed using please visit http://code.google.com/apis/maps/.
- Plugin can not be set up for questions of 'Section Header', 'Rate Different', '3D Matrix' type.
- Respondents location map based on latitude and longitude This plugin is used to show respondent location on Google Map in summary report, found by longitude and latitude. Note: both longitude and latitude fields should be fields of one question.
Parameters:
- GoogleMap API key (HTTP) - Google map's API http key for licensed using on this site.
- GoogleMap API key (HTTPS) - Google map's API https key for licensed using on this site.
- GoogleMap API key (IP) - Google map's API IP key for licensed using on this site.
- *Reference to a question - Input reference to a question in Qx format where you want to show map.
- Index reference to an answer with latitude - Input reference to an answer index within selected question where latitude is stored (default 1).
- Index reference to an answer with longitude - Input reference to an answer index within selected question where longitude is stored (default 2).
- Index reference to an answer with comment - Input reference to an answer index within selected question where comment is stored.
- Width - Input map width in pixels. Must be between 300 and 2000 (e.g. 500).
- Height - Input map height in pixels. Must be between 300 and 2000 (e.g. 500).
- Left position of map - Input left map position in pixels (e.g. 50).
- Top position of map - Input top map position in pixels (e.g. 20).

- Workflow This category contains plugins that allow to populate one survey by the information submitted within another survey or to send data to a third party as HTTP request.
Note: this category contains high-level and complex plugins so you must be very careful while applying them to your survey.
- Workflow This plugin can be used if you want to send an email invitation to another survey that is autofilled with the data entered by respondent within your survey.
To set this plugin up follow these steps:
- Create question of 'Single Line' type asking respondents for email address.
- Input <EMAIL_REPLY/> tag to question's answer choice.
- Then set up an email alert to respondent by clicking [Email Alert to] button.
- Input [LINK_TO_ANOTHER_SURVEY] tag to the alert's email body.
- After email alert is set up go to the 'Rules -> Plugins' page.
- Insert 'Workflow' plugin and indicate its parameters. The list of parameters is described below.
Parameters:
- *Target Survey Id - Input target survey Id. Id is a 6 digit number that can be retrieved from the survey's Master URL.
- *Questions' references - Input references to pass data from one survey to another in Qx.Ay=Qz.Aw format.
Example:
*Target Survey Id: 123456
*Questions' references:Q3.A5=Q2.A1
These mean that after respondent submits first survey, information from question #3 and answer 5 will populate question #2 answer 1 of the other survey and unique link to it will be sent to respondent within an email alert.
Note:
- Data can not be passed from one survey to another between questions of '3D Matrix' type.
- While passing data for questions of 'Rate Different' type both questions should be identical.
- While passing data for questions of 'Rate Different' type use Qx=Ay format of questions' references.
- If you pass data for questions of 'Multi-Line' or 'Single-Line' types and comment fields of appropriate questions
no more than 255 characters will be imported, characters that exceed the limit will be cut off.
- Remote data sender This plugin allows you to send some information to a third party application in a form of HTTP request.
Parameters:
- *Remote URL - Provide URL of a third party application you want to send the survey data to.
- Submit value - Provide value for SUBMIT parameter.
E.g. if you want to send some form field, it must be described as FF_01=Q1.A1, where FF_01 is name of parameter, Q1.A1 reference to the form value.
- *HTTP request method - Choose HTTP request method from this dropdown box.
- *Form elements names and values - Input parameter names and values,
e.g. Param_Name=Param_value. If Param_Value equals to QX.AY it will be replaced with the data from the respective question or answer field..
- Visual and Interactive This category contains different visual plugins.
You can add calendar to your survey for the ease of date entering or apply slider for entering numbers.
- Calendar Adds calendar to your questions for selecting dates.
Parameters:
- *Date Format - Choose the date format from this dropdown box.
- *Form reference - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format where chosen date should be stored.
When respondents take your survey the  icon will appear next to the field where the data should be entered.
Clicking this icon opens a calendar that allows selecting a date.
- Google Map Allows to use Google Maps for selecting a location on the map.
Parameters:
- *Latitude - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where latitude value should be stored.
- *Longitude - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where longitude value should be stored.
- *Description - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where description should be stored.
- Width - Input map width in pixels (e.g. 200).
- Height - Input map height in pixels (e.g. 200).
- *Location - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where location information should be stored.
- GoogleMap API key (HTTP) - Google map's API http key for the domain name you are running the survey on.

- Exclusive This plugin allows to mark certain answer options as exclusive in 'Check all that apply' questions.
When the exclusive option is checked, the rest of the checkboxes will be disabled.
Parameters:
- *Exclusive answer - Input reference to exclusive answer option within 'Check All' or 'List Box' type of question in Qx.Ay format.
- Slider Adds slide bar for selecting numeric values.
Parameters:
- *Slider width - Input slider width in pixels (e.g. 200).
- *Upper bound - Input upper bound value.
- *Lower bound - Input lower bound value.
- *Step - Input value for slider step.
- *Form reference - Input reference to a field of a single line question in Qx.Ay format or a multiline question in Qx format where the numeric value should be stored.
- Predictive Text Input This plugin is used to display typing suggestions to respondent who enters her answer to 'Single Line' question.
Parameters:
- *Question Description - Enter reference to answer option of 'Single Line' question you want display suggestions for in Qx.Ay format.
- *Suggestions Description - Use this text box to enter suggestions that will display to respondents. Separate each suggestion with a new line.
- Access Time Saver This plugin saves the date and time when respondent first opened the survey into the text field within the survey.
Parameters:
- *Answer - Enter reference to answer option of 'Single Line' question you want to save date and time of respondent's access in Qx or Qx.Ay format.
Note:
- If your survey has more than one page, 'Single Line' question associated with this plugin must be located on the first page of your survey.
- Question or answer choice you want to save respondent's access time to will be hidden from respondents automatically and will be displayed in the "Summary" or "By Respondent" reports.
- If your question where access time will be stored has more than one answer choice use Qx.Ay format refering to the appropriate answer choice.
- If your question where access time will be stored has only one answer choice use the Qx format.
Note
- Parameters marked with * are required.
- Autocomplete function allows you faster and easier enter questions references. After entering Q or Qx.A system will show you the list of available questions or answer options. Picked element will be substituted by its sequence number within the survey.
