This section explains what the "Email Reply" is and why you should use it

What: This feature allows you to send 'Email Alert' to your respondents if your survey has not been distributed via our mail system.

Why: This feature is used to add a question to your survey asking for the email address of the respondent if your survey has not been distributed via our mail system.

We are about to show you step by step how to implement this feature

To use the "Email Reply" you need to design your survey and then:

  1. Set 'Email Alert to respondent' to the answers you need. <more>
  2. Add a question of the 'Single Line Text with Pre-Format Option' type. In this question you should ask to enter email address.
  3. Insert tag <EMAIL_REPLY/> in the answer field in which respondents input email addresses to receive 'Email Alert'.

After respondent submits her survey, email alert will be sent to the email address indicated within the survey.

Note

  • You can use tag <EMAIL_REPLY/> only once in your survey.
  • If 'Email alert to respondent' has been set and your survey has been distributed via our mail system then tag <EMAIL_REPLY/> will be ignored.
  • If respondents do not input email addresses into answer field with this tag they will not receive 'Email Alert'.
