Advanced Show-Hide

Advanced Show-Hide feature is used to show or hide particular answer choices depending on the answers respondents give to previous questions.

To set up conditional display of the question's answer options follow this steps:

  1. Choose Show if/Hide if next to the answer choice you want to show or hide.
  2. Input the condition based on which answers will be shown or hidden in Qx, Qx.Ay or Qx.Ay.Cz format.

Note

  • You can refer to the preceding questions only.
  • It is not recommended to make questions where 'Show if/Hide if' option is activated mandatory or set up number of rows respondents must choose.
  • If setting up number of answer choices respondent must answer is necessary, make sure this number does not exceed number of answer choices that will be shown to respondents.
  • In complex logical expressions the operators and the operands, that are enclosed in brackets, must be separated with spaces. For example: Q5.A1==1 AND ( Q13.A1 OR ( Q14.A1 AND Q15.A1==0 ))
